Google unveils a more visual search experience
Google has unveiled plans to create a more visual search experience to attract the “Tik Tok generation”, and it makes sense. It is no secret that Tik Tok is taking the world by storm and Google is attempting to hit back and retake the spotlight.
To do this, Google is launching several new features, such as topic-specific drill-down tools and other modifications that will make using search a more visual experience by displaying map snippets, graphics, and even videos in new ways. Do you think Google can compete with Tik Tok?
Twitter is rolling out an edit tweet feature
At the beginning of the month, Twitter began rolling out its most anticipated and requested feature: An Edit Tweet Button. The feature is currently only available for internal testing. However, they have revealed that after successful testing, The Edit Tweet feature is being rolled out to Twitter Blue subscribers worldwide, meaning everyone working in marketing can breathe a sigh of relief- what a lifesaver!
LinkedIn has released major new features for Company Pages:
LinkedIn is stepping up its game as it is releasing brand new features for company pages and there’s a lot to get through, so we’ve created a list of the new updates…
- Clickable Links- “link stickers” have made a debut on LinkedIn, these will look familiar to anyone who also spends time on Instagram. Clickable links allow you to link to content from Linkedin through to specific product pages on a website with “a visual call-to-action button”. This is a great new feature for companies that are looking to generate more leads.
- Pinned Comments- Users are now able to pin comments to the top of the comment section on posts. This will enable businesses to guide the conversation on their brand’s posts.
- Post Templates- This feature was previously only available to select users on the LinkedIn mobile app, however, it is now available to everyone. Simply tap the “Use Template” button that is in the post menu, when creating a new post. You can now access a variety of professionally designed posts that you can customise.
