We’ve got some pawtastic news. We’ve officially introduced doggy Mondays at eclipse.
Even when you love your job it can sometimes be hard to muster up the enthusiasm for a Monday morning. So, when our Digital Strategy Manager Nikki decided that the best way to combat Monday blues was to bring the dogs in, we weren’t complaining!
Does your office allow dogs? Ours does!
We initially brought our furry friends in on January 16th (the day dubbed as Blue Monday) and it was a tremendous success. In fact, it went so well that we decided to make it a regular thing. But, let’s be honest, we couldn’t all bring our dogs in every week because it would be chaos (cute chaos, but chaos all the same). So, we decided on one dog per week and so far, it’s worked a treat.
What benefits have we seen from doggy Mondays?
If you keep up to date with us here at eclipse, you’ll know we’re big into mental health and anything that improves our well-being in the workplace. From reducing stress levels to increasing productivity, having dogs in the workplace has been proven to provide many benefits for both staff and animals alike. We’ve noticed an increase in staff morale as well as a decrease in stress levels because, after all, it’s hard to be stressed when you’ve got your furry friends around.
Meet the eclipse dogs
If you’ve read this far, it’s only right that we show you what you undoubtedly came here to see, the dogs themselves. Introducing some of the team’s best employees, the eclipse dogs:
Boost your workweek
More and more companies are allowing dogs in the office after seeing the positive impacts they have on employees. And, it’s certainly something that we would recommend. So, if you don’t do it already, perhaps, Doggy Mondays could be the boost your workweek needs.
